A Future in Construction
Date: 22/09/2005

Monday 19th September at Kelso Showground saw the first ‘Future In Construction’ event held. Over 180 children from all the Borders secondaries attended the event which opened with a welcoming speech by Euan Robson MSP covering the opportunities that construction can offer through its wide range of career choices.

Construction Companies Urged To Review Training Procedures
Date: 13/08/2005

The prosecution follows an incident on 25 February 2003 in which 19 year old Kyle Newell from Denbigshire, North Wales, suffered fatal injuries, when a number of steel bars fell from an excavator during the installation of a new drainage and sewage system at an excavation site in Wylde Green, Birmingham.
